When purchasing products, there is a logical belief that the product that is being purchased will not only uphold its promise of performance, but also that it will be properly tested and safe. While this is a reasonable assumption, it is not always one that can be wholeheartedly trusted.
All too often, products are placed onto the market that have not been tested and are with inadequate warnings about the dangers that they pose. These products can be dangerous in design, improperly put together or otherwise faulty, however, one thing is for certain – a defective product can be devastating to the victim.
Whether a children’s toy has been found to be strangulation hazard, a light has been found to cause burns or if a hip replacement system has been found to loosen and require secondary procedures to correct it, the catastrophic injuries that can be incurred from these products are nothing to be treated flippantly.
